The members’ shop has a variety of fertilisers available and sometimes it can be difficult to choose the right product for your plants, vegetables, fruit and flowers.
This page will help you decide which products are the best to use and where.All our fertilisers are available in pre-weighed bags as well as loose by the kilo. Each bag has a label with information on how each fertiliser can be used.

Growmore (£1.00 per kg)
Growmore is a very popular general-purpose fertiliser because it has a balanced blend of plant food. Growmore promotes a heavy crop of fruit, vegetables and beautiful flowers. This is particularly useful as a pre-seeding fertiliser before laying turf or sowing grass seed.
Pelleted Chicken Manure (£0.80 per kg)
Pelleted Chicken Manure is rich in organic matter and nutrients, which is essential for healthy growth. This is good for enriching the soil and maintaining the soil’s delicate balance to feed vegetable plots and flower beds.
Rose Food (£0.80 per kg)
This is good for feeding your roses for abundant blooms of brighter roses. Use this fertiliser to increase flowering and improve growth because it contains major plant foods, including iron and magnesium to boost plant health.
Sulphate of Ammonia (£0.80 per kg)
Sulphate of Ammonia is a fast acting nitrogen fertiliser which encourages leafy growth. This is particularly useful for the brassica family, lettuce, spinach, rhubarb, leeks and onions. This fertiliser provides a rapid boost for flowering plants, shrubs and fruits. This can also be uses to green up a tired lawn.
Sulphate of Potash (£1.30 per kg)
Sulphate of Potash boosts flowering and ripening of fruit. It improves the strength and rigour of plants leading to resistance against weather and diseases. This is particularly useful to use on tomatoes and cane fruit because Sulphate of Potash promotes an increase in fruit yields and bigger blooms.
Superphosphate of Lime (£1.10 per kg)
This is a good fertiliser to promote strong root growth for healthy plants. This can be used for fruit, root and seed crops to produce high yields. Superphosphate of Lime is an ideal starter feed for seedlings and rooted cuttings.
